We were very busy…it all started on Friday evening with Sherri Hisey, from Border Creek Station Pattern Company doing a trunk show!

The quilts were outstanding!

Sherri taught us different ways to set our blocks in our quilts and to make fabulous borders.

I think everyone went home to look at their borders on their quilts differently.

Sherri taught us so much that I think no one slept on Friday night, with thoughts of quilts going through their heads.

Saturday – Another day with Sherri!

She came in and helped us kick off the Quilters Celebration Mystery Quilt. Lots of ladies are on their way of 8 months of celebration.

Some ladies were nervous not knowing what the pattern of the quilt is, but Sherri reassured them that everything will look great and they will have fun doing it. What a journey these ladies will go on through the next months.

New fabric has been arriving in the shop. We have Christmas panels. The one I love the most is the panel with 3 Cardinals and lots of Poinsettias with a little bit of gold metallic on it. You need to see it for yourself!

Montreal Quilt Show May 24th – 27th, 2012
